RÜFÜS DU SOL have reached a historic milestone following three sold out hometown headline shows in Sydney. The Grammy-winning live electronic trio were presented with a commemorative plaque by Live Nation and Untitled recognizing their Inhale / Exhale World Tour as the highest selling electronic tour of all time. The achievement crowns a record setting 2025 in which the group sold 750,000 headline tickets and performed to 1.5 million fans worldwide across festivals and headline dates.

The Inhale / Exhale era has been a defining period for the band. Their latest album earned a 2026 Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album and received four nominations at the 2025 ARIA Awards. It debuted on the Billboard 200 and delivered their first number one on U.S. dance radio with “Music is Better,” further proving their growing global influence and ability to cross over into the mainstream.

The world tour spanned nearly 50 headline dates across four continents and solidified the trio as one of the most powerful live acts on the planet. They have performed in venues often reserved for long-established legends, headlined major festivals such as Lollapalooza, and remain the only electronic act operating at this scale internationally. Highlights included becoming the first electronic act to headline Los Angeles’ Rose Bowl and setting a new record for the highest selling Australian act at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. These moments represent a new benchmark for electronic music on the global stage and underline the group’s continued impact on contemporary culture.

The newly presented plaque celebrates RÜFÜS DU SOL’s groundbreaking achievements throughout 2025 and arrives as the band prepares for an enormous year ahead. Their 2026 schedule includes major headline tours across South America and Europe with additional dates added in Dublin, Dusseldorf, and Bologna due to sustained demand. These new shows join a packed run across some of Europe’s most iconic arenas including The O2 in London, Adidas Arena in Paris, and Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.
