Miley is returning to the stage.

The Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum superstar has announced two shows at Los Angeles’ iconic Hollywood Bowl, marking her live return as she prepares to release her tenth studio album, Bass Persuades, on September 18 via Atlantic Records.

Miley will perform at the Hollywood Bowl on October 16 and October 18, with tickets going on sale in stages ahead of the general sale on September 10.

The announcement comes as Miley begins to unveil the visual world surrounding her new album. She recently guest-edited a special issue of Wonderland Magazine, photographed by Mario Sorrenti and styled by Chief Creative Officer Alastair McKimm, a close collaborator on Bass Persuades. Photographer Mert Alas has also been behind the visual identity of the new era.

The new chapter continues Miley’s long-running connection to her godmother, Dolly Parton, whose influence has played a significant role throughout her life and career. Their relationship has extended across music and television, including Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party, produced by Lorne Michaels and co-hosted by Miley and Dolly.

The Hollywood Bowl shows will be Miley’s first announced live dates surrounding the release of Bass Persuades. The legendary Los Angeles venue has a capacity of nearly 18,000 and has hosted some of music’s biggest names over the years, including Paul McCartney, Elton John, Stevie Nicks and Dolly Parton.

Fans will have several opportunities to get tickets before the general sale. An American Express presale begins September 8 at 10am PT, followed by Miley’s artist presale on September 9. Eligible Spotify Premium top fans will also have access through the streaming platform’s new Reserved programme, which gives selected superfans tickets set aside ahead of the general public.

General ticket sales begin September 10 at 10am PT.

With Bass Persuades arriving just weeks before her Hollywood Bowl return, Miley’s latest era is officially underway.
