Céline Dion has wrapped the first run of her Paris residency with a record-breaking 16th sold-out show, drawing more than 500,000 fans to Plenitude Arena over five weeks.

The singer has sold more tickets than any artist in the venue’s history, according to organisers, with more than 32,000 people attending each performance. The scale of demand was evident before the residency began, with more than nine million presale registrations for the initial 10 dates. Those shows sold out in approximately 90 minutes, prompting organisers to expand the run to 16 performances.

A further 10 shows have been announced for May 2027, extending a residency that has attracted fans from around the world to the French capital.

Dion closed the final show of the 2026 run with her latest single, “Bonjour, Pardon, Merci”, following a roughly two-hour performance featuring some of the biggest hits of her career. Her setlist included “My Heart Will Go On”, “The Power of Love”, “Because You Loved Me”, “All by Myself” and French-language favourites such as “Pour que tu m’aimes encore” and “S’il suffisait d’aimer”.

“This beautiful adventure finishes tonight,” Dion told the audience. “But we’ll meet again next May. In the meantime, believe in yourselves and hold on to your dreams!”

The residency marks a significant chapter in Dion’s return to live performance following her appearance at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics in 2024, where she performed “Hymne à l’amour” from the Eiffel Tower. Her Paris shows bring together her English and French repertoires, reflecting a career that has made her one of the world’s most successful artists in both languages.

With almost 260 million albums sold worldwide and a history of record-breaking Las Vegas residencies, Dion has long demonstrated her ability to draw audiences on a global scale. The response to her Paris engagement provides another measure of her enduring appeal.

The 10 additional performances will take place on May 8, 12, 14, 15, 19, 21, 22, 26, 28 and 29, 2027, at Plenitude Arena.
