Chance the Rapper is hitting the road this fall for a 15-date North American trek in support of his forthcoming album Star Line. The And We Back Tour, promoted by Live Nation, kicks off September 26 in Houston before weaving through cities like New Orleans, Atlanta, New York, Toronto, and Los Angeles.
In New York, Chance will play The Rooftop at Pier 17, offering fans an open-air show against the city skyline. Back home in Chicago, he’ll take over the lakeside Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island, before closing the run on October 20 at the Hollywood Palladium.
The tour announcement follows news of Star Line, Chance’s first full-length release in six years, due August 15. Crafted with longtime collaborator DexLvL and inspired by travels to Ghana, Jamaica, and global art fairs, the independent project mixes hip-hop, soul, and experimental textures. Lyrically, it explores themes of identity, resilience, and legacy, all while keeping Chicago at its heart.
The lead single, “Tree” featuring Lil Wayne and Smino, flips India.Arie’s Video into a meditation on cannabis justice, racial inequality, and Black resilience. The track sets the tone for an album that reflects Chance’s global outlook without losing the grounding that’s always fueled his work.
