Bon Jovi and Robbie Williams Team Up for Feel-Good Anthem “We Made It Look Easy”

Rock and roll icons Bon Jovi have joined forces with British popstar Robbie Williams for a brand-new, foot-tapping and reflective anthem, “We Made It Look Easy.” Released today via Island Records, the song offers a first taste of Forever (Legendary Edition) — out October 24, 2025 — a reimagined celebration of Bon Jovi’s acclaimed 2024 album Forever.

The track opens with warm, acoustic guitar picking — intimate and familiar — before Jon Bon Jovi’s unmistakable voice cuts through, weathered but still golden. As the chorus bursts open, it’s all heart and muscle: big drums, layered harmonies, and that signature Bon Jovi sense of lift. Then, as the second pre-chorus rolls in, Robbie Williams takes his turn, sliding in effortlessly with that signature Robbie mix of swagger and soul, turning the duet into something both nostalgic and new.

A fan on YouTube nailed the sentiment: “Great choice to invite Rob to sing this anthem.”

Lyrically, “We Made It Look Easy” is a toast to youth — and the messy, beautiful chaos that comes with it.

“We would laugh 'til we cried, getting drunk, getting high… we were broke-down cars chasing shooting stars.”

It’s the sound of Saturday nights that never seemed to end, and of dreams that still burn even after the lights come up. There’s reflection here, but also joy — a recognition that the best times aren’t perfect, just perfectly lived.

Jon Bon Jovi: “Robbie’s lived this lyric”

“Robbie is one of the greatest entertainers, period,” said Jon Bon Jovi. “I’ve loved his music for years and I'm honored to have him join me and the band on We Made It Look Easy. He's lived this lyric. I knew he'd deliver.”

And he does. Williams’ voice blends seamlessly with Bon Jovi’s — two veteran performers sharing the same scars, the same grin, and the same love for the spotlight. It’s a collaboration that feels both earned and electric.

The Legendary Edition

Forever (Legendary Edition) reimagines the 2024 Forever album track by track, with each song featuring a special guest — from Bruce Springsteen and Lainey Wilson to Jelly Roll, Jason Isbell, and Avril Lavigne. There’s even a brand-new anthem, “Red, White and Jersey.”

It’s a lineup that spans generations, genres, and geography — a reflection of how far Bon Jovi’s music has traveled since their 1983 beginnings on the Jersey Shore.

Still Making It Look Easy

Critics called the original Forever album “a triumph” (The Times) and “an instant Best Of” (Daily Star), praising its mix of stadium-ready anthems and heartfelt ballads. “We Made It Look Easy” builds on that legacy — proof that, four decades on, Bon Jovi still know how to make a song that connects.

With its acoustic warmth, singalong hook, and the chemistry between Bon Jovi and Williams, this track feels like a celebration — of youth, friendship, and the simple magic of making music that lasts.

“We Made It Look Easy” by Bon Jovi featuring Robbie Williams is out now on all streaming platforms. The new album, Forever (Legendary Edition), arrives October 24 via Island Records.
