Semaphore's new single and music video "Unreliable" provides a close scrutiny of modern interpersonal relationships. From confronting the emotional games often played in dating, to the hurt of unrequited friendships, it explores the anxieties of being surrounded, yet so often alone, even in a place such as New York City. Blending post-shoegaze, alternative rock, and pop-punk influences, "Unreliable" provides a catchy hook and melody, but resonates deep in its content.

Swedish provocateur Ängie has returned with her brand new single ‘IDGAF’. The song is the first taste of new music following the release of her massively acclaimed debut album Suicidal Since 1995 last year.

London-based Spanish pop sensation Gizmo Varillas will support acclaimed Brazilian singer-songwriter and actor Seu Jorge next month for his much anticipated UK orchestral debut of ‘The Life Aquatic – Tribute to David Bowie’ show with The Heritage Orchestra, which is taking place at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith on Friday 8th February.

Robert Earl Keen was inducted into The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame, on January 17, 2019, during a festive ceremony which included dinner and drinks at the World’s Largest Honky-Tonk, Billy Bob’s Texas.

As part of their continuing 30th Anniversary celebrations - which most recently saw them include a special show at the iconic 100 Club in London as part of their UK tour - Brighton-based punk rockers Levellers have announced an exciting competition for fans to win a five day recording session at Metway Studios in the band's hometown. The studio is owned by the band, and past artists who have recorded there have included Nick Cave, Royal Blood, Orbital and Sleeper as well as the group themselves.  

Burning Rain, the group founded by guitarist Doug Aldrich (Dead Daisies, Revolution Saints, ex-Whitesnake, Dio) and vocalist Keith St. John (Montrose, Kingdom Come), have announced they will release their second album on March 22nd via Frontiers Music srl. Face The Music is the group's fourth album, the follow up to 2013's Epic Obsession.

Midlands-based hard rockers Vega will kick off their 2019 as support to US legends Skid Row on their UK Tour. The trek will comprise four theater shows and two festival dates, kicking off at Manchester's O2 Ritz on January 22nd and continuing through to the 2nd February where the tour will wind up with sets at the Frontiers Festival at Birmingham's O2 Institute.

Lancashire based band Record Street started 2019 on a high when they flew to Denmark last Saturday. The Indie-rock four piece, consisting of three Bannister brothers (Lewis, Danny, Brandon) along with their good friend Josh Ashworth, travelled to Sonne Studios in Copenhagen to complete their debut album.

Glasgow blues/rock four-piece Highway 491 will release 'These Places, In This City' via Rock & Roll Traffic Records in January 2019. The 10 track record is their first full-length release and follows 2015's Extended Play EP and 2017's 'In The Loop - The Acoustic Sessions.' The album will be launched on January 11th 2019 with a gig at the long-running Dreadnought Rock club in Bathgate, Scotland.
