Multi-platinum artist and BRIT Award nominee Matt Cardle kicks off 2026 with the release of his new single ‘Fading Lights’. Marking his return after a seven-year gap between albums, the track is a confident and feelgood statement that sets the tone for his forthcoming record, The Great Escape, due April 10th.

Collaborators include Michael Champion of Wet Leg, Ben Cullum, Danny Connors, Tim Bran of London Grammar, and long-term partner Neil Wilson. One track is co-produced and co-written by multiple Ivor Novello winner Eg White.

Cardle’s career has been defined by high-profile milestones, from performing alongside Rihanna to chart-topping singles like ‘When We Collide’ and collaborations with Melanie C and Gary Barlow.
