Lainey Wilson is leaning fully into the holiday spirit with a new animated video for her duet version of “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” with Bing Crosby. Created in partnership with Hershey’s, the clip brings both artists to life as charming Claymation-style characters that recall classic Rankin-Bass Christmas specials.

The video places Wilson inside a cozy, snowed-in cabin where her plans for hot chocolate and s’mores are repeatedly interrupted by a series of mishaps. An animated Bing Crosby first appears on her television before showing up on her doorstep completely frozen. Wilson’s real-life French bulldog, Hippie Mae, makes a cameo, along with a duck that seems to echo her fiancé. One of the running gags has Wilson thawing out Crosby with hot chocolate only to send him back outside when he reappears with mistletoe. Since the video is produced with Hershey’s, the brand’s cocoa and syrup play an enthusiastic supporting role in nearly every scene.

The audio pairs Wilson’s warm country vocal with Crosby’s original performance, resulting in a playful blend of tradition and modern style. The duet appears on Wilson’s new holiday EP Peace, Love, and Cowboys (Holiday Edition), which also features instrumental tracks and is available on multiple vinyl formats and CD.

Wilson has been celebrating the season onstage as well. She performed a medley of the EP’s title track and “Somewhere Over Laredo” during the 99th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and is set to appear at the Grand Ole Opry on December 10 for a special Christmas show.

The release arrives during one of the biggest years of Wilson’s career. “Somewhere Over Laredo” just became her ninth number one at country radio in the United States after also topping the charts in the United Kingdom and Canada. The song, featured on the deluxe edition of her album Whirlwind, is up for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards. She also holds a nomination for Best Country Duo or Group Performance for “Trailblazer” with Reba McEntire and Miranda Lambert.

These honors follow a sweeping run at the 59th CMA Awards where Wilson served as the first solo female host since Reba McEntire in 1991. She won Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for Whirlwind, and performed both a musical medley monologue and her single “Ring Finger.” She recently appeared on the cover of US Weekly’s Humankind Issue, which highlighted her Heart Like A Truck Fund.

Wilson has also enjoyed a standout year at the ACM Awards, collecting four trophies this spring including her second consecutive win for Entertainer of the Year. She continues expanding into fashion with a new Wrangler collection plus her own boot line, Golden West Boots, and The Lainey Wilson Jewelry Collection.

The Grammy winner and Grand Ole Opry member has accumulated nine chart-topping hits and collaborated with a wide circle of artists including Cole Swindell, Jelly Roll, HARDY, Reba McEntire, Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton and Post Malone. She contributed “Out of Oklahoma” to the Twisters film soundtrack and is set to make her feature film debut next year in the adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s Reminders of Him after appearing on the television series Yellowstone.

The unexpected pairing with Crosby has already produced delighted reactions across social media. As one YouTube user put it, “Now this is a collab I never saw coming! Love it.”
