Natasha Hamilton, best known as a member of one of the UK’s most successful girl groups Atomic Kitten, is set to release her new single ‘Numb’ on January 16th.

The track is described as a sleek, emotionally charged electro-pop song that explores what happens after the noise fades, when resilience is tested and clarity is found. Rather than being explosive, the song is controlled and reflective, capturing a moment of emotional reckoning while balancing vulnerability with quiet strength.

Hamilton has been teasing the single on her social media, sharing a short clip featuring prominent guitar picking and an atmospheric tone, offering fans a glimpse of the themes of emotional disconnection and recovery that underpin the release.

Speaking about the song, Hamilton said, “Numb was written in that space where you realise survival isn’t the same as living. It’s about noticing when you’ve shut down emotionally and deciding to feel again, even when it’s uncomfortable. This song marks a turning point for me creatively. It’s honest, grounded and exactly where I am now.”

‘Numb’ will be the first of several releases from Hamilton in 2026, a landmark year for the singer that coincides with the 25th anniversary of Atomic Kitten’s global hit “Whole Again.” The track helped define a generation of pop music and cemented the group’s place in UK chart history.
