Boardmasters has unveiled Lily Allen as its final headliner for 2026, completing the top of the bill for one of the UK’s most distinctive summer festivals. Revealed through a striking piece of large scale sand art on the Cornish coastline, the announcement marks a major moment in the festival’s Wave 2 lineup and confirms Allen alongside fellow headliners Fatboy Slim and Kasabian.

The 2026 edition of Boardmasters returns to Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach in Newquay from 5 to 9 August, bringing five days of music, surf and coastal culture to the edge of the Atlantic. Following strong demand after the first lineup announcement, final tier tickets are now on sale via boardmasters.com.

Lily Allen arrives at Boardmasters as one of the UK’s most culturally defining pop artists, with an era shaping catalogue and a reputation for sharp, unfiltered songwriting. Fresh from the release of her critically acclaimed 2025 album West End Girl, which earned BRIT Award nominations for Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Best Pop Act, Allen will perform the record in full on the Cornish coast. The album marks a bold new chapter in her career, blending reflective storytelling with emotional depth and razor sharp observation.

Wave 2 additions further strengthen a lineup that balances major names with emerging talent. Joy Crookes returns to the coast following the release of her second acclaimed album Juniper, bringing her soulful sound and lyrical weight to the festival. Rising indie artist Jacob Alon, a Mercury Prize nominee and this year’s BRITs Critics’ Choice winner, is also confirmed following the success of their 2025 album In Limerence. Elsewhere, Lucy Spraggan and Beans on Toast add a strong folk pop and acoustic presence, each known for deeply personal songwriting.

Electronic and dance music also play a central role in the new announcement. Fleetmac Wood will transform the cliffs into an open air dancefloor with their globally celebrated DJ collective, while artists including Hamdi, Sicaria, Lens and Gotham B2B Deekz bring late night bass and club energy. Charlie Boon returns to his home county for a special back to back set with BBC Radio 1’s Sarah Story.

Across the weekend, a new generation of pop and alternative artists including Rose Gray, Etta Marcus, Charlotte Plank, Holysseus Fly and Chloe Qisha reflect Boardmasters’ ongoing commitment to spotlighting artists on the rise. The lineup also stretches into indie and genre blending territory with names such as Old Mervs, Dirty Nice, Good Health Good Wealth and Oh My God! It’s The Church.

More than just a music festival, Boardmasters remains rooted in its coastal setting and surf heritage. Returning to Fistral Beach, the festival hosts elite international and UK surfers as part of the Boardmasters Open, including WSL Men’s and Women’s Pro competitions and the Junior Open. Alongside the competition, the festival offers surf lessons, wellness experiences, yoga, sound baths, fitness sessions and a dedicated spa featuring saunas, hot tubs and ice baths.

Further art, cultural and wellbeing programming will be announced in the coming months, with immersive installations, workshops, talks, skate sessions, silent discos, comedy and more planned across the site. Day tickets for Boardmasters 2026 will go on sale at the end of February, with final tier camping, VIP and travel options available now.

With Lily Allen completing the headliner trio and a Wave 2 lineup that spans pop, electronic, indie and soul, Boardmasters 2026 is shaping up to be one of the festival’s most exciting editions yet, set against one of the most dramatic backdrops in the UK.

She joins headliners Fatboy Slim and Kasabian, plus The Kooks, Loyle Carner, Rudimental, REN and Tash Sultana. Wave 2 additions include Joy Crookes, BRITs Critics’ Choice winner Jacob Alon, Keo, Hot 8 Brass Band, Rose Gray, Hamdi, Charlotte Plank, Lucy Spraggan and more!
