Slam Dunk Festival has confirmed its return to mainland Europe for 2026, announcing festival dates in Germany and Italy as part of a wider summer run. Hardcore heavyweights Knocked Loose will headline both European shows, continuing a huge year for the band following the release of their latest single featuring Denzel Curry.

The European announcement follows the recent news that Knocked Loose will play back to back main stage headline slots at Slam Dunk Festival UK, taking place at Hatfield Park on Saturday 23 May and Temple Newsam on Sunday 24 May. Those appearances will be the band’s only UK shows of the summer, before they head to Europe at the end of May.

The 2026 European run will see Slam Dunk make its debut in Germany for the first time. The festival lands at Turbinenhalle 1&2 on Friday 29 May, with Knocked Loose joined by Paleface Swiss, Stand Atlantic, Hawthorne Heights, Static Dress, Holywatr and Sweet Pill.

Slam Dunk will then return to Italy on Monday 1 June, with Slam Dunk Italy taking place at Circolo Magnolia. The Milan line up will feature Knocked Loose alongside Paleface Swiss, Gorilla Biscuits, Stand Atlantic, Hawthorne Heights, Static Dress, Holywatr and Sweet Pill, bringing the European run to a close.

Since launching in 2006, Slam Dunk Festival has grown from a one day event into the UK’s biggest independent rock festival, becoming a staple of the alternative calendar and a platform for both genre defining artists and rising talent. With the festival celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2026, the newly announced European dates mark a major milestone for the long running brand.

Tickets for Slam Dunk Europe go on sale on Thursday 19 February at 9am GMT. Tickets for Slam Dunk UK are on sale now and are selling fast.
