Squeeze to Transform London’s Koko for Up-Close Trixies Album Launch
- by Andrew Braithwaite • Latest • 20 February 2026

Squeeze will transform the iconic Koko in Camden, London into the mythical club Trixies for a one-night-only album launch on March 11th, 2026.
The show celebrates the release of Trixies, one of the most anticipated albums of 2026. This is the band’s first album in eight years, but it is also the first they ever wrote. The songs were originally created by teenage founders Chris Difford, then 19, and Glenn Tilbrook, then 16, at the very start of their songwriting partnership. Now, more than fifty years later, Squeeze have completed the circle and realized the vision the young band members had for the fictional nightclub-themed album. The Guardian has noted that the songs already contained “all the Squeeze hallmarks of melody, romance and storytelling from the beginning.”
Following the release of Trixies on March 6th, Squeeze will perform the album in full at Koko, followed by a second set of classic tracks. Fans can expect an immersive, up-close experience as Squeeze bring the world of Trixies to life, performing in the compact, atmospheric setting of Koko. Attendees are encouraged to dress in suits and evening wear for the special night.
Pre-sale tickets will be available on Wednesday, February 25 at 9:30 AM GMT for fans who pre-order the album through the Trixies Store. General ticket sales begin on Friday, February 27.
The band recently performed a special set for BBC Radio 2’s Piano Room. Later this year, Squeeze will embark on the Tried, Tested and Trixies Tour, the most ambitious UK tour of their career. The 16-date arena tour will also support the anti-poverty charity Trussell and grassroots music venues. It begins at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on November 12 and concludes at the Brighton Centre on December 5. The London O2 Arena show will take place just three miles from where the band originally started. Singer, songwriter, and activist Billy Bragg will join Squeeze as a very special guest on the tour.
