BRIT and Ivor Novello nominee Nerina Pallot is set to play the biggest headline show of her career at London’s Royal Albert Hall on May 31st, marking 25 years in music. Tickets are limited, with fans eager to celebrate the milestone alongside the singer-songwriter.

Speaking about the occasion, Pallot says, “The Royal Albert Hall is one of the most beautiful venues in the world. To be playing there, twenty-five years after I released my first record, is something I never imagined. I want this night to be a thank you to everyone who’s been on the journey with me — and a celebration of the songs that brought us here.”

The show will coincide with the release of Pallot’s first ‘Best Of’ album, a collection featuring hits, fan favourites, live staples, and some new music. The album promises to highlight her emotional honesty, melodic richness, and distinctive vocal range, with stories exploring the beauty and heartbreak of everyday life.

Pallot’s career began with her 2001 debut, Dear Frustrated Superstar, and she broke through with 2005’s Fires, certified Gold and featuring the chart hits Everybody’s Gone To War and Sophia. Over six further albums, including 2024’s A Psalm for Emily Salvi, she has received consistent critical acclaim. She has also written for artists such as Kylie Minogue and Diana Vickers, while continuing to tour across the UK and Europe.

Part of Pallot’s recent resurgence is linked to a more personal connection with fans through the launch of her new app, CHMBR. Frustrated with declining reach on social media, she created the platform to bypass algorithms and connect directly with followers.

“Like so many creatives, I have become really fed up with social media,” she says.

What started as a genuinely fun and wholesome way to connect with people has turned into being a dancing monkey for the algorithm and being exposed to AI slop, or worse, increasingly distressing images or online vitriol. As a musician, it's become almost impossible without spending vast amounts of money on ads just to reach the people who actually follow me on a platform, and as a fan, I'm sick of missing out on announcements by my favourite artists because the algorithm decided to show me something else.

I've decided to do something about it and have created CHMBR. It's a private app that allows everyone who follows you on it to see everything you post when you post it, without adverts or an unpredictable algorithm. For fans, it means never missing out on things from your favourite creators.”

Following a sold-out London Palladium show in 2024, Pallot’s Royal Albert Hall performance promises to be a landmark celebration of her 25-year career, offering fans both a musical journey and a new way to stay connected through her own platform.
