Thomas Rhett and Niall Horan Bring Stadium Shows to Nashville and Hershey

Country star Thomas Rhett and pop singer Niall Horan are turning a longtime friendship into a stadium event this summer, announcing two major U.S. shows that blend Nashville country with global pop appeal.

The pair revealed Today that they will headline two stadium concerts together in 2026, marking the first time the two artists have shared the top of a bill for shows of this scale. The limited run includes a July 9 performance at GEODIS Park in Nashville and a July 18 date at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Promoted by Live Nation, the shows are being framed as a special two night event rather than a full tour, leaning into the personal connection between the two artists. Both performers say the idea grew out of years of friendship rather than a traditional industry collaboration.

“Niall and I have been buddies for nearly a decade now, but one thing we’ve not done yet is officially tour together,” Rhett said in a statement. “There’s nothing I love more than being on the road alongside longtime friends. It’s going to be a blast for us and the fans.”

Horan echoed the sentiment, saying the concept immediately clicked when Rhett brought it up.

“When TR brought up the idea of doing these, I immediately got so excited just thinking about it,” Horan said. “We’ve been friends for ages and it just makes perfect sense.”

The shows will also feature rising artists Kashus Culpepper and Emily Ann Roberts as opening acts for both dates.

The announcement arrives shortly after Rhett and Horan teamed up musically for a new version of Rhett’s song “Old Tricks,” a collaboration that added a country pop twist to the track from Rhett’s recent deluxe album About a Woman. The expanded project includes 25 songs and features appearances from several artists across country and pop.

For Rhett, the stadium dates are the latest chapter in a decade long run that has made him one of country music’s most consistent hitmakers. He has scored 24 No. 1 songs and accumulated billions of streams, along with awards from the Academy of Country Music, the Country Music Association, and multiple Grammy nominations.

Horan’s career has followed a different but equally global path. After first rising to fame as part of One Direction, he has built a successful solo career with several chart topping albums and international tours. His 2024 record The Show fueled a sold out arena run across multiple continents.

The two artists now appear to be testing a formula that the live music industry has leaned into more heavily in recent years. Cross genre pairings and limited event style shows have become a way to draw fans from multiple audiences while keeping the concerts feeling special.

Tickets for the shows will first be available through artist fan club presales starting Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time. Additional presales will run through the week before the general on sale begins Friday at 10 a.m. local time.

For Rhett and Horan, the concerts represent something simpler than a business move. After nearly a decade of friendship, the stage is finally being shared on the biggest scale possible.
