Yungblud Tells Crowd “We Stand for Love and Unity” at London’s The O2 Arena
The penultimate night of Yungblud’s 11-date, sold-out O2 arena tour saw the 28-year-old deliver a 1-hour-40-minute set spanning four albums.
Opening with the nine-minute Hello Heaven, Hello, the show moved through a run of high-energy tracks including Lovesick Lullaby and The Funeral, as the packed arena responded with sustained applause.
A standout moment came during Fleabag, when Yungblud paused after the intro to invite a fan onstage to play the song on his white Gibson SG. Addressing the crowd, he said: “Make some noise, make him feel comfortable because he’s nervous.”
The set also included a rendition of Changes in tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, now a regular part of the show.
Following Ghosts, from his third consecutive UK No. 1 album Idols, Yungblud told the audience: “I’m so proud of what we’ve created. In a world that is so divided, we stand for love. We stand for unity.”
A string-accompanied version of the Grammy-nominated Zombie brought the main set to a close with a crowd singalong. The encore, Suburban Requiem, ended the night.
I’m so proud of what we’ve created. In a world that is so divided, we stand for love. We stand for unity.”
