The Fizz have released their latest single today, called ‘A Crazy Shot In The Dark’.
A Crazy Shot In The Dark’ is the group’s first material since their 2022 album ‘Everything Under The Sun’ and the first single from their new line-up of Cheryl Baker, Matthew Pateman, Jay Aston and Nikk Mager, following the departure of former original Bucks Fizz member Mike Nolan.
“45 years since winning Eurovision and we’re still excited to be making great music,” said the group in a social media post. “We are proud of this new track and extremely grateful for the opportunity.”
Teasing more to come, they said: “New line up, new single and maybe there’s an album on the way.”
The track is written and produced by Mike Stock, who also helmed the group’s previous albums ‘The F-Z Of Pop’ (2017), ‘Christmas With The Fizz’ (2019) and ‘Smoke & Mirrors’ (2020).
‘A Crazy Shot In The Dark’ is out Friday, May 22 out now to stream, download and available on limited edition CD.
