Post Malone and Jelly Roll Celebrate Country Crossover Success at Stadium Tour Launch
Post Malone's country era continues to gain momentum as the superstar officially launched The BIG ASS Stadium Tour Part 2 alongside Jelly Roll with a packed opening night at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The June 9 show marked the start of the North American leg of the tour, which follows a record-breaking run that attracted more than one million fans and became the biggest tour of Malone's career to date.
The Charlotte crowd was first welcomed by rising country singer-songwriter Carter Faith, whose set showcased the blend of modern country and personal storytelling that has made her one of the genre's emerging names to watch.
Jelly Roll followed with a high-energy performance that highlighted many of the songs that have helped fuel his rapid rise in country music. The Grammy-winning artist delivered fan favorites including "Liar," "I Am Not Okay," "Need a Favor" and "Save Me," drawing loud singalongs from the stadium audience. His set balanced emotional moments with arena-ready anthems, underscoring why he has become one of country music's most popular live performers.
Malone closed the night with a career-spanning performance that reflected the broad appeal that has made him one of music's most successful crossover artists. The set featured hits including "Circles," "Congratulations," "Losers" and "I Had Some Help," his chart-topping collaboration with Morgan Wallen that helped cement his transition into country music.
The launch of the tour highlights how successfully Malone has expanded beyond the hip-hop and pop worlds that first made him a star. Following the release of his debut country album *F-1 Trillion*, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, Malone has become one of the few artists in recent years to make the leap into country while continuing to headline stadiums around the world.
After Charlotte, the tour will travel through major markets including Indianapolis, Toronto, Nashville, Tampa and Kansas City before concluding its North American run in Salt Lake City later this summer. Malone will then take the tour overseas with stadium dates scheduled across Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
With two of live music's biggest crossover stars sharing the bill, the opening night in Charlotte offered an early indication that The BIG ASS Stadium Tour Part 2 could build on the success of its predecessor and rank among the year's biggest country touring events.
