The Weeknd has officially launched the UK and European leg of his record-breaking After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour, opening the run with two sold-out nights at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium.

The opening show on the 2026 European leg drew nearly 43,000 fans, as the global superstar arrived on stage through a cinematic opening sequence to “Baptized in Fear,” backed by 30 dancers dressed in red. The performance quickly escalated into a high-production visual spectacle featuring a towering gold sculpture, suspended stage rings, lasers, flames, and newly reimagined staging elements designed exclusively for this leg of the tour.

The Manchester dates mark the first UK shows of the year and arrive as the tour continues to extend its place in music history. In 2026 alone, the tour has already sold more than 3 million tickets worldwide and generated over $440 million in revenue, according to figures tied to the ongoing global run.

The setlist blended material from Hurry Up Tomorrow with defining tracks from After Hours and Dawn FM, alongside global hits including “Blinding Lights,” “Starboy,” and “Can’t Feel My Face.” The show reinforced the scale of a production that has evolved across continents since its launch in 2022, becoming the highest-grossing tour ever by a male solo artist.

The European and UK leg follows a landmark global trajectory that has now surpassed $1 billion in total gross, with more than 7.5 million tickets sold across 153 shows worldwide. Manchester marks the start of a major stadium sweep across the region, including multi-night runs in Copenhagen, Paris, Milan, Amsterdam, and an extended five-night Wembley Stadium residency in London.

Beyond the spectacle, the tour continues its charitable partnership with Global Citizen and the UN World Food Programme, with €1 per ticket in Europe and £1 per UK ticket directed toward global education and hunger relief initiatives.

After Manchester, the tour continues with a second sold-out show before moving on to a packed summer schedule across Europe, before heading into its final planned Asia run later this year.
