ROSALÍA Blends Ballet, Pop and Performance Art in Boston Tour Debut

ROSALÍA has officially brought her ambitious LUX Tour to North America, launching the arena run with a sold-out performance at Boston's TD Garden on Thursday night.

The Grammy-winning Spanish artist opened the show with "Sexo, Violencia y Llantas," setting the tone for a production that blended the cinematic scope of her latest album LUX with fan-favorite tracks from MOTOMAMI. Across five distinct acts, ROSALÍA delivered a performance that leaned heavily into visual storytelling, combining large-scale choreography, live ballet, theatrical staging, and intimate acoustic moments.

The Boston opener also unveiled a new collection of custom Dior looks created specifically for the North American leg, adding another layer to the artist's carefully curated visual identity.

The launch comes amid a landmark period for ROSALÍA. Released earlier this year, LUX has become the strongest commercial debut of her career, opening at No. 1 on Spotify's Global Top Albums chart and setting a new benchmark for streaming among female Spanish-language artists on the platform. The album has also posted strong chart performances across Europe, Latin America, and the United States, further cementing her status as one of the most influential global artists working today.

Fans in Boston were treated to a set that balanced emotional depth with high-energy spectacle. Highlights included crowd-pleasing performances of "BIZCOCHITO" and "DESPECHÁ," which brought the evening to a celebratory close.

The North American run continues with a stop at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena on Saturday before heading to major markets including New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Diego. The tour will then move into Latin America in July, where ROSALÍA is scheduled to play a series of multi-night arena engagements in cities including Bogotá, Santiago, Buenos Aires, and Mexico City.

With a 57-date itinerary spanning two continents, the LUX Tour represents the biggest live undertaking of ROSALÍA's career so far. If Boston's opening night is any indication, audiences can expect a production that matches the scale and ambition of the album that inspired it.
