Carly Rae Jepsen has released her latest single, After All, offering fans another glimpse of her upcoming double album Day and Night, which arrives on September 18.

The shimmering pop track was inspired by Jepsen reflecting on how motherhood can reshape identity, relationships and the way people see the world. She co-wrote the song with longtime collaborators Kyle Shearer, who also produced it, and Nate Cyphert.

The accompanying music video, directed by Aerin Moreno, captures the quiet aftermath of a dinner party as Jepsen moves through a sunlit room surrounded by memories of the night before. As the song builds, the visuals shift to scenes of celebrations spanning different generations, reinforcing the track's themes of love, family and shared moments.

After All marks the second preview of Day and Night, a 24-track project split into two halves that Jepsen says explores the blurred line between day and night through dreamlike pop songs. The album follows lead single On Wires, which earned praise from critics for its warm production and understated confidence.

The release also sets the stage for Jepsen's return to live performances. She is scheduled to headline New York City's All Things Go Festival on September 27, marking her first concert of 2026.

More than a decade after Call Me Maybe made her an international pop star, Jepsen has continued to build a devoted following with acclaimed albums including E•MO•TION, Dedicated and The Loneliest Time. With Day and Night, she appears to be entering another chapter, balancing introspective songwriting with the polished pop sound that has become her trademark.
