John Mayer is heading back to Sphere in Las Vegas, this time for a six-show run in April 2027 that will put the Grammy-winning guitarist at the center of one of the world's most technologically advanced concert venues.

Mayer will perform on April 8, 10, 11, 15, 17 and 18, with each show built around three different sides of his musicianship: solo performances, a full-band set and a performance with the John Mayer Trio, featuring bassist Pino Palladino and drummer Steve Jordan.

The solo portion will see Mayer performing on his own, with a focus on acoustic guitar alongside piano and electric guitar. The trio will bring back the lineup of Mayer, Palladino and Jordan, while the full-band portion will round out an evening designed to showcase the breadth of his catalog.

The shows will also make extensive use of Sphere's immersive technology. The venue's wraparound LED display will create a visual environment around the audience, while Sphere Immersive Sound will deliver the concerts through the venue's high-resolution, concert-specific audio system.

Tickets start at $129, with the general public on sale beginning Friday, October 9 at 10 a.m. PT through Ticketmaster. Fans can register now for Mayer's artist presale, which begins Wednesday, October 7 at 10 a.m. PT. SiriusXM listeners will also have access to an exclusive presale beginning October 8 through Mayer's SiriusXM channel, Life With John Mayer.

A limited number of VIP packages will be available from September 30 and will include options such as premium seating, exclusive merchandise and a date-specific lithograph signed by Mayer.

There will also be a charitable component to the residency. Tickets for each show will be auctioned separately, with all proceeds benefiting the Heart and Armor Foundation, the veterans' health organization Mayer founded in 2012. In addition, $1 from every ticket sold will go to Mayer's Back To You Fund, which supports a range of charitable causes, including programs focused on at-risk youth and homelessness.

For fans looking to turn the concerts into a longer Las Vegas stay, Vibee will offer official concert and hotel packages beginning September 30. The packages include a Sphere ticket, a two-night stay at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, a collectible laminate and lanyard, with VIP options offering additional perks.

The residency marks another chapter in Mayer's relationship with Sphere. He previously performed at the venue as part of Dead & Company's hugely successful residency, which ran for 48 shows and drew nearly half a million attendees.

Mayer has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide and won seven Grammy Awards since breaking through with his 2001 debut Room For Squares. He has also released eight studio albums and continues to perform with Dead & Company, while maintaining his solo career.

The April 2027 Sphere shows offer fans a chance to see Mayer in a format that goes beyond a traditional concert, combining his solo guitar work, full-band performances and John Mayer Trio sets with the immersive capabilities of one of Las Vegas' most talked-about venues.
