South London singer-songwriter Jake Isaac is set to return with a new album, CRY.DANCE.LOVE., due for release on 19 February 2027. Alongside the announcement, he has released his latest single, ‘ONLY YOURS’, offering a glimpse into a deeply personal record shaped by love, spirituality and the realities of everyday life.

Known for blending contemporary soul with heartfelt songwriting, Isaac uses his upcoming album to explore the emotions that connect us all. Following the gospel-inspired sounds of his 2024 album BENJAMIN, the singer has taken a more introspective approach this time around, drawing on his own spiritual journey and the reasons he first began sharing music with the world.

Inspired by the reflective songwriting of Paul Simon and Bill Withers, alongside the gospel energy of The Temptations and James Brown, CRY.DANCE.LOVE. brings together classic soul influences and a fresh perspective on life in 2026. The result is an uplifting collection that embraces vulnerability, celebrates happiness and offers a sense of hope.

Speaking about the album, Isaac explained that he wants the music to encourage people to reconnect with their emotions.

“I hope this album will help people value what they feel again. Hence the title. I’ve got a two-year-old and she says how she feels all the time. I want this record to allow people to do that,” he said.

The album’s latest single, ‘ONLY YOURS’, captures that sentiment through a love song built around commitment, devotion and the kind of connection that stands the test of time. Rather than focusing on the excitement of new romance, Isaac explores a more enduring form of love, one that is built through shared experiences and a willingness to remain present through life’s challenges.

Musically, the track pairs Isaac’s rich baritone vocals and timeless soul influences with an almost hip-hop-inspired beat, bringing an unexpected edge to its classic sound.

Describing the song’s message, Isaac said: “Its a tune for the ones that have lost hope in love and for those that have found hope in love.”

‘ONLY YOURS’ follows the previously released singles ‘A SUMMER LONG AGO’ and ‘WHEN THE WORLD’S ON FIRE’, featuring Aaron Childs, which have helped set the tone for the forthcoming album. Across its 10 tracks, CRY.DANCE.LOVE. moves between dance-pop, soaring ballads and more intimate arrangements, showcasing the breadth of Isaac’s songwriting and production.

The album has been entirely written and produced by Isaac, who also performs most of the instrumentation. Additional contributions come from guitarist Aylwin Steel, bassist Charlie Thornton, horn arranger Kat Deal and a chamber orchestra from Budapest.

The announcement follows a sold-out intimate performance at St. Pancras Old Church in London, with further live dates expected to be announced soon.

With CRY.DANCE.LOVE., Jake Isaac is looking to create more than a collection of soul songs. The album is an invitation to embrace the full range of human emotion, from heartbreak and uncertainty to joy, connection and lasting love.
