Atlanta, GA — After spending much of last year behind the scenes helping shape the sound and vision of other artists, gospel singer, songwriter, and producer MarQuez Curtis is preparing to step back into the spotlight with new music slated for release in 2026.

Throughout 2025, Curtis focused heavily on artist development and production, lending his creative gifts to several notable projects. Among them was Pastor Stephen Brown’s single “By Friday,” which Curtis both wrote and co-produced. He also penned and produced Carleen Strong Tate’s debut single “Jesus Is My Friend,” collaborating alongside award-winning producer Bart Orr II to bring the record to life.

In an exclusive interview, Curtis shared his passion for cultivating talent and helping others realize their artistic vision.

“I love helping artists develop and birth their vision,” Curtis explained.

Known for his strong work ethic and faith-centered approach, Curtis says his journey has been guided by prayer and purpose.

“I pray, ‘Lord give me the grace to model the standard I expect from others,’” he said.

Now, as he looks ahead to 2026, Curtis expressed excitement about entering a new creative season. With plans to collaborate with new producers and explore fresh sounds, fans can expect music that reflects both growth and authenticity.
