New album ‘Roll With The Punches’ lands August 29 via Bad Records

Canada’s favourite leather-jacketed rock export is back and, this time, he's preaching empathy with a beat. Bryan Adams has just unleashed his latest single, ‘A Little More Understanding’, a slinky, groove-soaked rocker that struts onto the scene ahead of his new album ‘Roll With The Punches’, out August 29th.

The track finds Adams in classic form — guitar turned up, heart on sleeve — urging listeners to step into each other's shoes (literally and metaphorically). "We need to be able to see each other with a little more kindness and compassion," says Adams. “Go on, I dare ya’!” he adds, channeling full rock ‘n’ roll guru mode.

The song’s video drops us in the middle of a joy-fuelled dance party, with Bryan performing amongst a whirl of free spirits, shoulder pops, and feel-good vibes. Think: your dad’s coolest mate letting loose at a rooftop funk jam. Watch it [HERE].

‘A Little More Understanding’ is the third single to be lifted from ‘Roll With The Punches’, following the soaring ‘Never Ever Let You Go’ and punchy ‘Make Up Your Mind’ — both of which are still doing laps on Radio 2’s A-list, proving Adams still knows his way around a hit.

The upcoming LP is shaping up to be a genre-blending juggernaut — mixing bruising rock anthems (‘How’s That Workin’ For Ya?’, ‘Be The Reason’) with soul-searching ballads (‘Will We Ever Be Friends Again’, ‘Life Is Beautiful’) in a record that promises to swing high, low, and everywhere in between.

Adams has already road-tested much of the album live, tearing through an extensive world tour that saw sold-out UK arena shows in May. And he’s not done yet — this summer sees him headline a trio of major UK outdoor fests, including Warwick Castle Live (Aug 28), Rock N Roll Circus (Aug 29), and the sold-out BBC Radio 2 In The Park (Sept 6).
