At its core, it’s a song about seeing the light after a long time in the dark. Someone came into my life at the right time, and it genuinely felt like an angel had been sent to me.”

The album effortlessly blends country and folk elements, highlighting Downey’s lyrical depth and striking vocal presence.

Fresh off a standout performance at this year’s TRNSMT Festival, Rianne Downey will embark on a 12-date UK and Ireland tour throughout autumn and winter 2025. The run kicks off with a sold-out show at Hull’s Central Library on October 12th, includes a London date at OMEARA on October 29th, and wraps with a hometown performance at Glasgow’s Old Fruitmarket on December 6th. Fans can also catch a series of acoustic shows and album signings across the tour.
