Laura Evans Unleashes Fun, Fierce ‘ATM’ Ahead of New Album

Welsh powerhouse Laura Evans continues her rise in the UK music scene with the release of her latest single, ATM, out now ahead of her highly anticipated second album, Out of the Dark, arriving 17th October. The track, co-written with songwriter Samuel Jack and produced by Patch Boshell, blends bluesy, rootsy energy with a bold, playful attitude and a big, sassy chorus.
Inspired by time spent in Los Angeles, where Evans encountered “people with too much money and too little soul,” ATM delivers sharp, witty lyrics and a confident, unapologetic perspective. The single is accompanied by a full-band rooftop video shot in London, capturing the vibrant energy and swagger of the song.
“This is the final single before the album drops next month,” Evans says. “Writing with Samuel brought extra grit and character, which really brought the story to life.”
Fans have already responded enthusiastically. One listener commented, “Top notch tune again!! 🔥❤️ …and top notch video to go with it!! 🔥❤️ …Dream Team do it again!”
2025 has been a standout year for Evans. BBC Radio 2 has thrown strong support behind her, with plays from Cerys Matthews and Owain Wyn Evans, while Scott Mills called her previous single Honest “really good pop, that’s a great song.” Evans has also appeared on Gaby Roslin’s BBC London show and was the first guest for BBC Radio Wales’ Live at Your Local.
Evans will take her music on the road this November for her biggest UK headline tour to date, including stops in Cardiff, Manchester, Newcastle, York, Sheffield, Barnoldswick, Kent, and London.
From the South Wales Valleys, Evans first picked up a microphone at age five and began writing songs by fourteen. Her debut album State of Mind (2022) drew praise from Classic Rock Magazine and earned her spots on Spotify’s ‘Nu Blue’ playlist, as well as regular spins on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio Wales. With more than 3 million Spotify streams to date, her blend of soulful blues, heartfelt pop, and rock-infused power has won acclaim across Europe, where she toured extensively in 2023 and 2024.
ATM is now available to stream, and Out of the Dark is available for preorder ahead of its 17th October release.
