Delivering sun-kissed ’70s Californian rock, uplifting Americana, and power-pop to a new generation, The Sons of Guns have built a reputation for timeless songwriting, sweet five-way vocal harmonies, and impeccable multi-instrumentalist performances. Tracks like Hollywood, I Got It Right, and It’s Getting Better have earned the band acclaim from both fans and peers, with live collaborations alongside Rick Astley and Joss Stone, and praise from Eagles of Death Metal’s Jesse Hughes. Musexpo founder Sat Bisla even described their set as one of the best in the showcase’s 25-year history.

Now, the band is set to connect with their grassroots following in the UK as they announce their debut headline tour. For frontman David Zincke and bandmates Scott Richman, Jack Daniel, and Frankie Connolly, the tour is also a homecoming for the four Englishmen who formed the band with Aymeric Ardimanni. Based in Nice, France, the band has honed a musical intuition through frequent live performances, a quality that promises to shine on this upcoming tour.

“Always the bridesmaid, never the bride! We’ve always, up until now, been the support band for so many great artists,” says Zincke. “But now that it’s us headlining, we’re a little bit more excited about this tour. Playing live is what we love most about our life in music, and we can’t wait to share it!”

Ahead of the UK shows, The Sons of Guns will play three sets in four days in Los Angeles: a WFNM showcase, the Mark Awards (where they’re nominated for Country/Americana Track of the Year), and their own show at Cafe Hollywood. To give fans a taste of their live energy, today sees the release of a new live version of their current single I Got It Right, along with additional live footage showcasing their stage presence.

Musically, The Sons of Guns draw on influences like Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Eagles, and The Beatles, while maintaining a warm, contemporary appeal that resonates with fans of The Black Keys and UK roots-rock acts like Gomez.
