The Band CAMINO’s “12:34” Turns Missed Wishes into a Moment of Connection

When a fan commented on YouTube, “You are my emotions. Have been for the last two years,” under The Band CAMINO’s latest release, it summed up what many have felt since the Nashville trio first carved their space in the alt-pop universe. With their new single “12:34,” the band once again proves their uncanny ability to turn fleeting moments into timeless anthems.

The song, out now via Atlantic Records, expands the band’s third studio album NeverAlways — and it’s everything fans have come to expect: cinematic, sincere, and steeped in cosmic serendipity.

“It’s 12:34 / And I’m outside your apartment / Only have 60 seconds / To line up our stars,” the lyrics confess — a breathless mix of fate, fear, and romantic impulse that feels both urgent and nostalgic.

“12:34” drifts between superstition and sincerity, name-checking four-leaf clovers, wishbones, and sidewalk cracks, as the narrator bets everything on love and perfect timing. The track’s glittering production and soaring melodies feel tailor-made for the late-night drives and quiet heartbreaks that The Band CAMINO have long soundtracked.

The release arrives just as The Band CAMINO — Jeffery Jordan, Spencer Stewart, and Garrison Burgess — prepare to kick off the North American leg of The NeverAlways Tour this Friday in Atlanta, GA. The run includes major stops at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium and New York’s Brooklyn Paramount, before heading overseas to the UK and Europe, and then Australia and New Zealand through early 2026. Their pre-tour warm-up, fittingly dubbed Tour Before The Tour, sold out in under 20 minutes.

NeverAlways features standout singles “Stupid Questions” and “Infinity,” co-written with longtime collaborators Seth Ennis and Schmidt, and continues the evolution of the band’s signature sound — anthemic yet deeply personal. Additional collaborators include Captain Cuts, Jonah Shy (Shawn Mendes, Role Model), and Gabe Simon (Noah Kahan, Gracie Abrams).

Since forming in 2015, The Band CAMINO have built an empire of emotion — amassing nearly 1 billion streams, sold-out global tours, and high-profile performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Kelly Clarkson Show. Their catalog, from early EPs like tryhard to breakout hits Daphne Blue and See Through, has made them one of alt-pop’s most beloved storytellers.

Now, nearly a decade in, 12:34 feels like both a lucky number and a love letter — not just to the person at the door in the song, but to the fans who keep showing up.

Because if the YouTube comment section is any sign, The Band CAMINO aren’t just writing songs anymore. They’re writing soundtracks to people’s lives.
