Jelly Roll Earns Eighth Straight Country Radio No. 1 With “Heart of Stone”

Jelly Roll’s streak of radio success shows no signs of slowing. The Nashville native has landed his eighth consecutive No. 1 at U.S. country radio with “Heart of Stone,” the latest single from his chart-topping album Beautifully Broken.
Co-written with Zach Crowell, Blake Pendergrass, and Shy Carter, the song delivers a rough-edged but vulnerable reflection on guilt, redemption, and second chances — themes that have become central to Jelly Roll’s storytelling. It follows “I Am Not Okay” and “Liar,” both of which hit No. 1 earlier this year.
Released in April, Beautifully Broken debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has been praised for its blend of country, rock, and gospel influences. The album marks Jelly Roll’s second consecutive country chart-topper and has helped cement his place as one of the format’s most consistent hitmakers.
The new milestone arrives as Jelly Roll heads into a busy awards season. He’s currently a three-time nominee at the 2025 Dove Awards (airing October 10 on TBN) and a CMA Award nominee for “Hard Fought Hallelujah,” his collaboration with Brandon Lake. The song, which also spent weeks atop the Christian radio charts, continues to find crossover success.
Last month, Jelly Roll performed that duet at Grace for the World: The Live Event — a concert held at St. Peter’s Square in Rome, co-directed by Pharrell Williams and Andrea Bocelli. The performance came just before he joined Post Malone for the closing show of Malone’s Big Ass World Tour in Portugal.
In addition to his chart achievements, the past year has seen Jelly Roll take on a wide range of projects — from making his acting debut in CBS’s Fire Country to becoming American Idol’s first-ever “Artist in Residence.” He also recently opened his own Broadway bar, Goodnight Nashville, and headlined the first Music City Rodeo in May.
Jelly Roll’s rise continues to defy genre lines and expectations, built on the same honesty that first drew fans to his music. “Heart of Stone” isn’t just another radio hit — it’s another chapter in a career that’s finding power in vulnerability.
