James Arthur’s X Factor winner’s single has become the fastest selling ever in the show’s history, beating X Factor heavy weights Alexandra Burke and Leona Lewis.

The official first day sales figures for the download version have been released by The Official Charts Company ahead of the song’s physical CD release on 11th December and shows that the Impossible has sold over 187,000 downloads.

Shocking statistics have been released revealing that the number of complaints that have been made to the police about online ticket fraud has sharply risen this year.

There have been 3,000 complaints this year compared to just 600 in 2010 according to Action Fraud which is the UK’s centre for reporting fraud and online crime.
