Meghan Trainor is officially kicking off the festive season with “Gifts For Me,” a new Christmas single that blends her signature pop charisma with a message of self-love. The GRAMMY Award winner, known for delivering some of the most cheerful holiday tracks of the last decade, returns with an upbeat reminder to treat yourself as much as you treat others.

“Gifts For Me” arrives as Trainor’s first holiday release since her 2020 album A Very Trainor Christmas and follows the recent momentum around her empowering new single “Still Don’t Care.” Produced by Emily Bear, the song leans into Trainor’s pop and R&B roots, wrapped in bright festive production and a confident, independent spirit. The lyrics celebrate knowing your own worth, with lines like “This year I’m buying gifts for me, cause I got myself, that’s guaranteed” grounding the track in her familiar blend of positivity and playful honesty.

Trainor says the song was crafted with the same joy she associates with the season. “For me, the holidays have always been about joy, sparkle, and celebrating the people we love. ‘Gifts For Me’ is my fun, festive way of spreading that energy. It is also a reminder to treat yourself a little, too,” she says. She recorded the track with Emily Bear and Nicole “KOLE” Cohen, both longtime creative collaborators.

Early listeners are already connecting with the message. One YouTube fan wrote, “Why is it every time I need a pick me up for my self love, I suddenly hear a new Meghan Trainor song? Girl, thank you.” Another added, “Keep a grateful heart, it is your best tool for navigating challenges and expanding blessings.”

The release also builds anticipation for Trainor’s upcoming Toy With Me album, arriving April 24 via Epic Records. Themes of confidence and personal empowerment run through this new chapter, which she previewed with the “Still Don’t Care” music video, showing her dancing through Los Angeles with a carefree glow.

Fans can soon hear “Gifts For Me” live as Trainor prepares to hit the road for The Get In Girl Tour, a 33-date arena and amphitheatre run produced by Live Nation. Tickets are on sale now, and the tour comes with a strong charitable component. A portion of each ticket benefits The Trevor Project and supports LGBTQ+ youth through suicide prevention and crisis intervention. Trainor has also partnered with Headcount to promote voter registration throughout the tour.

With its bright pop sound and message of holiday joy, “Gifts For Me” adds another crowd-pleaser to Trainor’s growing Christmas catalog and sets the tone for a major year ahead.
