Lulu returns with Ibiza-inspired dance-pop single 'I'm In Love Again' ahead of first album in over a decade
Lulu is back with a feel-good new single inspired by her rediscovered love of life, music and dancing. 'I'm In Love Again', released on 7 August, is the first track from her forthcoming album 'Let The Girl Sing Out', marking her first studio album in more than a decade.
The upbeat dance-pop single draws inspiration from Lulu’s enjoyment of dancing in Ibiza’s lively nightclubs, capturing a sense of freedom, celebration and renewed energy. Blending a modern sound with Lulu’s unmistakable vocals, the track shows that six decades into her career, she continues to embrace new musical ideas while staying true to the voice audiences have loved for generations.
Recorded at the famous Metrophonic Studios, 'I'm In Love Again' features songwriting contributions from Mark Taylor, Paul Barry, Lulu herself and her brother Billy Lawrie. The single serves as the lead track and title song from 'Let The Girl Sing Out', released on 15 January 2027 via The Orchard.
With a career spanning more than 60 years, Lulu remains one of the UK’s most celebrated performers, from winning Eurovision and singing a Bond theme to achieving global success with 'To Sir With Love', collaborating with artists including David Bowie and continuing to captivate audiences as a live entertainer.
Lulu will perform 'I'm In Love Again' alongside many of her biggest hits at BBC Radio 2 in the Park in Stirling on Saturday 12 September. The performance follows her charity headline show at London’s Royal Albert Hall in June in support of Lulu’s Mental Health Trust, where she was joined by Robbie Williams, Gary Barlow, Delta Goodrem and Boy George.
Lulu’s 'I'm In Love Again' is a feel-good celebration of music, movement and rediscovered joy, pairing modern dance-pop energy with the timeless vocal power that has defined her career.”
