I’m checking in on Alexander Stewart and his latest release, “Here Again.” He’s one of those artists I return to every now and then—just to see what’s happening in the pop scene. I liked “Here Again” right away because it leans into a more traditional songwriter-pop feel. No TikTok-style beat switch after 45 seconds, no flashy production gimmicks—just strong, soulful vocal melodies. Stewart’s voice is sharp and raspy in the best way; it cuts right through the mix and demands attention.

The song blends guitar, piano, subtle ambient textures, and a solid pop rhythm section. The chord progression and chorus phrasing remind me a bit of Avicii—those punchy piano chords and instantly memorable melodies. I always appreciate when you can hear influences without the song sounding derivative.
