Bryan Adams Rolls With The Punches and Hits Hard

Bryan Adams has returned with his 16th studio album, Roll With The Punches — and for the first time, he’s releasing music via his own independent label, Bad Records. The album is available now on vinyl, CD, 2xCD (with an acoustic bonus disc), Deluxe Boxset, and digital formats.

“Super excited to not only launch my 16th studio album, but also to launch it on my own label Bad Records!” Adams said. “It’s been a minute since we released So Happy It Hurts, and so much has happened in the past couple of years, all of which has been the inspiration for Roll With The Punches. Rock on!”

Blending fiery rock anthems with soulful ballads, the album has already delivered fan favourites including “A Little More Understanding,” “Make Up Your Mind,” and “Never Ever Let You Go,” all of which have enjoyed A-List rotation on BBC Radio 2 while climbing charts across Canada, the U.S., and Europe. To coincide with the release, Adams also unveiled the powerful new video for single “Will We Ever Be Friends Again,” filmed against the dramatic backdrop of Iceland.

Fans have been quick to respond, with one YouTube listener writing: “Wow, I was on the verge of tears when watching this video while listening closely to the lyrics.” Another added: “Bryan Adams still making music, what a true musical genius. Thank you!”

The critical response has been equally enthusiastic. Roll With The Punches was named Radio 2’s Album of the Week and has drawn praise across the board:

“Muscular rock with an emotional punch” — The Sun

“Roll With The Punches manages to sound huge while possessing a satisfying intimacy” — Classic Pop

“An album full of great hooks and big sing-along choruses… This is a seasoned performer at the top of his game” — Rock Candy

And from us: “‘Roll With The Punches’ feels like Bryan Adams in full stride — a record that hits hard yet never loses its heart. It’s the sound of an artist still hungry, still inspired, and still proving why he belongs at the centre of rock’s story.”

Following a critically acclaimed sold-out UK arena tour earlier this year, Adams will headline BBC Radio 2 In The Park on September 6 before continuing his world tour across North America and Europe, with newly announced dates in Japan for January 2026.
