Scottish Rockers Biffy Clryo have given a reaction to Matt Cardle’s version of their song, stating, “It’s an X - Factor Version of the song”, with drummer Ben Johnston saying, "The whole thing’s a bit surreal, we think it's all quite funny."

Former 2008 X – Factor star Ruth Lorenzo has sold out her first gig in three hours. The former contestant is scheduled to play her first gig with her full band, the Raspberry Pattern, at London 229 Venue on the 4th February, where she and her band will perform tracks from their debut album.

Hot on the new wave of fresh allegations against the talent show, X- Factor, Mary Byrne added some weight to the argument. A stunt accident to 23 year old Samuel Kock has resulted in Justin Bieber cancelling his scheduled appearance on German TV show Wetten Dass.  Samuel Kock was attempting to jump a car while wearing spring loaded stilts called “powerblocks”, when he was struck by the car, which, was driven by the stuntman’s father.
